Cathay Discovery - Animations on magazine pages

Made from an existing still photo from within the magazine. The shuttle was deep-etched and the exhaust plume and smoke was added as separate green-screen elements.

The existing magazine background image was redrawn in Adobe Illustrator and the arrows were animated as a vector animation. The original photo of the student was then overlaid within the OOMPH system as a separate layer.
A simple animation made from a still image. Each Macaron was deep-etched, then had its missing pieces Photoshoped back in. Each one was then animated falling onto the page in After Effects.
Yes, this is the only one that used video. The family in the foreground was etched out of the original images and overlaid over the video.
This was a simple - but effective - After Effects filter.
This was made from a still image. There is no video used whatsoever. The image was 'cut' into two layers to separate the foreground and background. The waterfall was added as a green-screen effect. The mist was created in Photoshop and animated within After Effects. Sound was later added.
Simple animated still images with sound added.

Another dissected image used to create a simple animation. A green-screen flame was added to the balloon along with sound.
